Vocational and Professional Qualifications
Our level 3 adult class covers higher grades and vocational level work, and advanced technique such as pointe work. This is a good place to start if you are considering industry recognised qualifications, or if you are an experienced dancer and simply want to keep your technique up.
FAQ
At present our Monday 7pm class is our most advanced class. This is pitched at Intermediate to Advanced, with appropriate syllabus work depending on the needs of participants. It also includes non-syllabus work, free enchaînments and optional pointework. Students are supported in training for a vocational qualification if desired.
At present, at a vocational level, we can offer Cecchetti Intermediate Foundation to Advanced 1. Grade 6 and Intermediate and above carry UCAS points for university entry.
There is no upper age limit. Most students in this class are actually adults, as it usually takes to 16+ to reach these levels. However younger students at an appropriate level wishing to experience the Cecchetti work are welcome to enquire.
At these levels pointework is included but all work in class can be done in soft shoes and alternatives will be offered for those not wanting to dance en pointe.
Students should have significant experience and be reasonably fit to join this class.
